Meet Richard Mbokani
Richard Mbokani earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Ottawa Law School. He holds a master’s degree (LLM) in International Law from the University of Geneva (Geneva Academy of International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law) in Geneva, Switzerland, and a bachelor’s degree in civil law from ULPGL in Goma, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Before founding Bisika Mbokani Law, Richard Mbokani taught and practiced law in various jurisdictions throughout Africa. He worked as an International Associate at a prominent boutique law firm in New York City, focusing on investments and securities law. He is also the founder and Director of the Canadian Association for Access Justice and serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, both in Canada and internationally.
